26/03/10 chase voted world's best vodka

Chase Vodka has been awarded the WORLD’S Best Vodka with a Double
Gold Medal in THE most respected spirits awards, in San Francisco, which
is a huge accolade for Chase.
The English potato vodka
was voted top out of 115 vodkas worldwide, which included larger mass
produced companies from Russia, Poland, Scandinavia and the USA.

William Chase comments: “When we sold Tyrrells we had to rename the
vodka. And when we made the first batch of vodka from our
potatoes I was
so impressed with the quality that I was proud to put my
name on it. So
winning this most prestigious award for world’s best quality
spirit is a
great testament to our work so I was really chuffed to have
it endorsed
as the world’s best vodka.
Our main aim has always been to grow our own raw materials here on the farm to produce the finest Vodka in world with pedigree. This award is a fantastic recognition that we are doing just that and a reminder that even a boutique business like ours can more than compete with larger distillers from across the world by producing quality not quantity.”

02/01/10 Williams chase gin is launched!
Our gin has been two years in the making. It is a relatively unknown fact that gin is made out of vodka, so when we set out to make our fine gin we needed the perfect vodka. So after much experimenting, we have turned our organic cider apples, from our estate, into apple chase vodka & created that into an elegantly crisp gin to make the perfect gin martini.
01/10/09 Look what we've done with Herefordshire Cider!
The first vodka made
from organic cider apples. And it tastes fantastically pure calling it
Naked Chase as nothing has been added!

Naked Chase Distilled from apples, not apple flavoured!
Why Apples?
When
we built the distillery in 2008 we wanted to make the world’s finest
gin and in order to make gin you need the best vodka and redistill it
with many wild botanicals. So we created a fine English potato vodka
but found that it was so complex in flavour that it overpowered the
delicate botanicals. So we had to start again and made another vodka
but this time out of the organic cider apples grown on our farm in
Herefordshire.
The result is a pure clean spirit so fine and
delicate that we are releasing it in its own right as ‘Naked Chase’, so
called to reflect the organic apples used and the traditional methods
undertaken to produce it. There’s nothing added to it, it’s just
distilled organic apples, not apple flavoured!
